Merefield School, located in Ainsdale, Merseyside is a special school with a diverse pupil population, aged from 3 to 19 years. Merefield School has over 100 pupils with severe, complex or profound learning difficulties and many on the autistic spectrum. It is a safe, happy, forward-thinking and truly outstanding place for pupils to learn.
Headteacher of Merefield School, Joanne Sharpe, said: “Joining Southport Learning Trust is a wonderful opportunity for our school community.
